요한계시록 신학

 

 

  개인적으로 너무나 좋아하는 학자이다. 박영선 목사님을 비롯한 많은 설교자들에게

영향을 미친 책입니다.

 

(원제: The Theology of the Book of Revelation)

본서는 요한계시록이 얼마나 심오한 신학책인지 증명해 줄 것이다. 지금까지 계시록에 대한 연구는 단순히 비밀코드로 씌여진 미래역사나 신적 심판의 묘사들에만 주목해온 경향이 있다. 그러나 본서는 요한계시록이 먼저 하나님의 비전을 성도들에게 제시해주는 책이라는 사실을 강조하며, 계시록의 상징을 이해하기 위해 구약에 나타난 비유들을 연구한다. 이 책은 보는 눈과 듣는 귀를 가진 자에게 제공해 주는 하나님의 변함없는 비전과 창조 목적에 대하여 말세를 살고 있는 오늘날 성도들에게 영적 통찰력을 제공해 줄 것이다.
